A coin hip belt for belly dance and Indian dance, built with five layers of hanging coins in three rows across the front. The layering is what gives the belt its sound – the coins strike each other on every hip movement rather than just swinging.
The base is a wide woven band that ties at the back, so it fits a range of waist sizes without a buckle. Coins are stitched rather than riveted, so a loose one can be repaired.
